Cultured Foods was founded by husband-and-wife team Donovan and Nadia, a pair united by their love of food, culture, and wellness.
Donovan, originally from South Africa, and Nadia, a proud Melburnian with Italian roots, have made Melbourne their home. Together, they bring a rich tapestry of culinary influences and traditions into every jar, bottle, and ferment they create.
Nadia is our master fermenter and a passionate believer in the healing power of food. With a deep respect for traditional food practices, she leads our kitchen with care, creativity, and purpose. Her philosophy is simple: food should nourish, delight, and heal.
